Amie Wagner began teaching at North
Avondale Montessori School at the start of the 2004-2005
school year. A graduate of Xavier University’s Montessori
Teacher Education program, she has both 3-6 and 6-9 American
Montessori Society certification. In addition, she has a
Masters degree in School Counseling also from Xavier
University and State of Ohio Certification grades Pre-K
through 3. Prior to joining the NAM community Amie worked at a
Montessori school in Blue Ash, Ohio for 9 years where she
served in several capacities including Extended Care Teacher,
Montessori 3-6 Teacher and lastly, Preschool Director.
Amie is married and has two pets, a cat
and a dog. She is anticipating the arrival of her first child
in March 2007. Amie enjoys traveling, reading and shopping in
her spare time.
